love the Flathead Lake area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We spent lots more time visiting with Pam and Mike.\u00a0 There are lots of good breakfast places around and we are trying a few of them.\u00a0 Yesterday it was the Somers Bay Cafe in the very tiny town of Somers.\u00a0 Today it was the Echo Lake Cafe.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, after breakfast, we just did chores &#8211; Carol and I washed the GMC and the Tracker and just hung around until going to Pam and Mike&#8217;s house for a little home cooked Mexican food.<\/p>\n<p>Today, after breakfast we all got on our bikes and rode 5 miles downhill to Big Fork and Brookies Cookies for an iced coffee and a cookie.\u00a0 The whole time we were worried about our &#8211; mostly Carol&#8217;s &#8211; ability to ride back up the hill but it turned out to be a piece of cake.\u00a0 Actually, once we were done we all felt like it was easier coming back than it was going &#8211; I know it was downhill because it was down to the river for 3 miles and then following the river downstream to Big Fork for another 2 miles.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the photos &#8211; some llamas and ospreys but not much else.<\/p>\n<!-- index.php
